For the Brussels Sprouts
- 2 pounds Brussels sprouts trimmed and halved
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Smoked Paprika to taste
- Garlic Powder to taste
- Cinnamon a small pinch
- Olive Oil as needed
For the Maple Glaze
- ½ cup pure maple syrup
- ⅓ cup whole-grain mustard
- 1 cup chicken broth
- Kosher salt to taste
Liberally season the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic power, and a touch of cinnamon. Mix until fully combined and roast at 425º for 25-30 minutes, or until crispy and tender.
Once the Brussels sprouts are done, heat a large skillet over medium heat (one big enough to hold the sprouts). Once hot, add the maple syrup.
When the syrup beings to simmer, stir in the mustard until fully combined.
Once combined, add the chicken stock and bring to a simmer. Continue to simmer until the stock reduces and you get a glaze like consistency.
Add the Brussels sprouts directly to the skillet, and toss until they're full coated. Taste, and adjust seasoning as needed.
